Diver’s World is the leader in the tri-state area in Scuba Education and Equipment Sales.  We would like to invite you to take the plunge into the underwater world with us.  This will tell you how to begin your underwater adventure.

HOW TO GET STARTED

You’ve taken the first step - you’re interested in the underwater world.  You may be planning a trip or this may be something you’ve always wanted to try.  Whatever the reason, welcome to Diver’s World.   Let our staff help you to begin your adventure into the underwater world.  By reading through this, we hope most of your questions will be answered.  Use the schedule to pick the class that is most convenient for you.  Return the application with deposit by mail or in person and we’ll reserve your place in class.  It’s that easy to register with Diver’s World.

SCUBA DIVER - The basic course to learn the skills to become a Scuba Diver. Sign your friends and families up to get some new dive buddies.
ADVANCED - Your next step after Scuba Diver to improve upon your skills, try different types of diving and have more FUN. After a brief classroom session, pick from the dive schedule and come do a boat, night, navigation, S&R, deeper, current dive and more.
POOL REFRESHER - Going on vacation soon? Haven't been in the water in a while? Join us at our pool refreshers and review skills and reacquaint yourself with your scuba equipment before your trip. Makes for a better vacation experience. Next date is Tuesday July 17, 2007 at Villa Pool in Erie

NITROX - Who ever said that air was the perfect breathing mix for divers? It was until Nitrox was developed! Diver’s World is the only place in the tri-state area where you can purchase Nitrox.  Enriched Air Nitrox is simply air that is enriched with oxygen, it is safer to breathe at certain depths than air and extends your bottom time.Learn all about diving nitrox, learn how to pick the best mix for your dive, safety concerns and more.

The course is taught with the NAUI power point system to make learning easy and fun. Price is $185 and includes textbook, 32 and 36 % nitrox dive tables, carrying pouch, nitrox rental tanks for open water dives and NAUI deluxe certification.
MASTER DIVER - A great course for those who wish to further their scuba education beyond entry level courses. The Master Diver course will use the NAUI Master Diver Education System which includes a textbook, workbook, video, and audio tapes. The first class will meet February 16th at 9:00 AM at Diver's World. Future classes will be decided upon at this class.
TRAINING ASSISTANT - This course is designed with the diver in mind who would like to help out at training dives and in the pool. You'll learn to escort students on the surface and on underwater tours, assist instructors in the pool and at open water dives and you'll also benefit by enhancing your general diving skills and abilities. Pre-requisites: Advanced, Dive Rescue and current First Aid and CPR. Instructors: Linda Huston & Bill Legler, Price: $80.
 
All courses include: NAUI certification card, patch, decal and certificate, Open Water dives and classroom instruction.
